A Little of This and a Little of That

We woke up to snow again this morning. So, we stayed in and played a little Mexican Train dominoes.


Yesterday, we gathered pine cones (they're abundant here) to make firestarters, so G. and I got to work today. Here's the fruit of our labor. The final count: 81. We melted wax (very carefully) in an old electric wok, poured a little wax on the bottom of a cupcake liner, stuck a pinecone in and drizzled a little more wax over the pinecone. Tada! Excellent firestarters! Gramma, you'll be getting some of these.

Followed it with a little bread baking (this is the best/easiest bread recipe ever). I'll post the recipe some time soon and now it's time to clean up for home church this evening.
